Modern rehabilitation physiotherapy worker with senior client

Our physiotherapists can assist with a variety of conditions affecting your lower back, sacro-iliac joints and pelvis, upper back, costovertebral and costotransverse joints.

Commonly treated conditions include:

  • Acute injuries and muscle spasm
  • Disc herniations
  • Facet joint pathologies
  • Osteoarthritis and degenerative changes
  • Spinal canal stenosis
  • Pinched nerves
  • Nerve irritation
  • Sciatica
  • Ankylosing spondylitis

Our physiotherapists will conduct a thorough assessment to determine the source of the symptoms and treat conditions amenable to physiotherapy, referring onwards in cases where specialist review may be of benefit or if the underlying cause presenting as back pain is inappropriate for physiotherapy intervention (eg. abdominal/organ injury). We may also refer you for X-Rays and other scans to gain further information of your bony or soft tissue injuries.
